Actor Wendell Pierce lost everything after his Louisiana home was destroyed due to flooding.

Sadly, The 52-year-old actor is no stranger to devastation due to natural disasters. His childhood home was badly damaged in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina ravaged the city.

TMZ caught Pierce leaving LAX on Monday (Aug. 15), and he was noticeably shaken up after losing everything in the flood, only offering information in a few words.

“It’s private pain,” he told the cameraman. “We lost everything.”
